Over rose stud

ROLL’EM!

“History teaches us that History is no teacher”

  • Fact:  In the late ’60s KRLA radio in Pasadena was the home of Harry Shearer, Michael McKean, David L. Lander, and Richard Beebe. The improv group was called The Credibility Gap.

Don’t feel badly if the title of my post doesn’t make sense. I don’t understand it either. Who’s the stud? What’s his number? How do I judge a float? Does he like meatball and lentil soup? Has he ever tried Skittles vodka? I love a rainbow.

Have a happy first day,

MG

  1. Check out the legs on that postcard. Wow.

  2. His mother’s buns are the best, said Sir John.

I hadn’t seen their performance. It’s wonderful that you found it and brought it here. Thank you!

I am going to watch it over and over until my buns rise.

  3. And I don’t know why this springs to mind, but my best friend and I ditched school (which we did more than otherwise) to bring a rose to Marcel Marceau when he was appearing at the Shubert in Chicago. We got as far as his agent who promised to deliver the rose. Somehow, I think MM would have preferred to receive it from the two high school sophmores in person.

  4. “Louis” thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo. “Louis’s” espresso shop is located at the corner of San Pablo and Solano Avenues in Albany. He looks forward to your visit!

  5. Oui, oui, c’est bien sûr sur les deux points!

I saw MM at the Shubert when I was in ballet 24/7

  6. Oh, the reels are great… I didn’t notice the shoes at 1st – but they are definitely to be coveted.
What struck me is that the kitchen cabinets are the same vintage (sans the counter) as the apartment we moved into Ave. 55 by Fig in Highland Park in ’70. The building was old, it was probably 30′s vintage.
I am very late with this, but I do wish you a joyful & prosperous 2009.
